TechXchange is one of IBM's largest global events, but much of its complexity, beauty, and human effort remains invisible to audiences. The challenge was to create a cinematic film that captured the scale of the event while revealing the emotional ownership, technical precision, and behind-the-scenes craft required to bring it to life.
As Chief Storyteller and Executive Producer, I led the creative vision and end-to-end execution of the 2025 Scope & Impact film. I designed it as a cinematic, human-centered portrait of TechXchange -- part documentary, part emotional time capsule, and part operational reveal. The goal was to show not only the size of the event, but the people, energy, and ownership behind it.
Across more than 250,000 square feet of venue space, I directed a multi-crew production model that included drones, FPV, timelapses, roaming cameras, lightboard coverage, comedic segments, interviews, and main-stage environments. We captured more than 100 interviews, built a year-round content library, and published daily sizzles in real time using an AI-enhanced post-production workflow.
The result was a film that made a massive event feel human, intentional, and alive.
