The Brief

Security Journey needed to establish credibility in a crowded cybersecurity market while connecting two very different audiences: developers and CISOs. The challenge was to translate complex application security concepts into stories that felt practical for developers, while building trust and strategic relevance for enterprise security leaders.

The Work

As Narrative and Creative Advisor to the CEO, I partnered with Security Journey from early stage through its acquisition, shaping the company's storytelling, brand, and content strategy. I worked directly with leadership to define a narrative system that combined developer empathy, CISO credibility, and real-world security impact.

I designed and built the company's production studio and content engine, enabling scalable creation of cybersecurity education experiences. This included OWASP-aligned learning programs, threat-modeling workshops, and secure coding narratives that translated advanced application security concepts into accessible, engaging formats.

In parallel, I developed leadership-level storytelling and executive-facing content used by CISOs and enterprise clients, helping elevate trust and market credibility. Through video series, narrative frameworks, and content systems, I helped turn Security Journey into a recognizable voice in cybersecurity education.

The Outcome
Increased developer engagement, strengthened CISO trust and enterprise credibility, and contributed to the successful acquisition of Security Journey.
